The service

Bilgesam (https://bilgesam.com) provides an AI-powered chat and document assistant. The service is operated by: Bilgesam LLC.

To use the service you need to create an account and accept these terms. If you are under 18, you must use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Account

You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your password; actions taken in your account are deemed to be yours.

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. If you have a renewing subscription, you must cancel it first; once cancelled, you can delete your account without waiting for the end of the period. Deletion ends your unused credits and the remaining time on your subscription, and they are not refunded.

Credits and plans

Every action uses credits, and your credit allowance is daily: it resets every day (UTC), does not roll over and has no cash value.

The daily credit amounts of the Free and Pro plans are stated on the pricing page. We may change what the plans include after giving prior notice; a change does not affect a paid period already in progress.

Extra credit packs are one-time purchases and remain valid for the period stated on the pricing page, below the purchase button. Pack credits are used once your daily allowance runs out; expired credits cannot be used and are not refunded.

Prices are shown in the currency you choose, and payment is taken in that currency for the amount shown. Amounts are calculated from the US dollar price using an exchange rate updated every 12 hours. If your card’s currency is different, the exchange rate and foreign transaction fees applied by your bank may change the amount charged to your card.

Sharing and publishing

On the Free plan your chats are created as public, and you are asked to confirm this before your first public chat. Public chats may be listed on the Explore page and indexed by search engines; their titles and descriptions may be generated by a language model. Do not put your own or anyone else’s personal data in your chats.

The Pro plan unlocks private and password-protected sharing. When the subscription ends, chats that were private up to that point stay private; your new chats start as public.

You can delete a public chat at any time. You can flag inappropriate content with the “Report” link on its page; content that is reviewed may be taken down.

AI responses

Responses are generated by a language model and may be wrong. They should not be relied on as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial or similarly critical decisions.

Responses generated from files you upload and from configured knowledge sources cite their sources; if the sources contain no answer, the assistant says so clearly.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

We may suspend or close your account if you use the service in breach of these terms.
